Frequently Asked Questions

Can I visit my child in class?

We encourage parents to visit their child’s classroom regularly, which helps to foster a partnership between parents and teachers.

Is your playground open to the public?

Yes. During Day School hours (9am-3pm M-F) the playground is for the exclusive use of our day school students. During non-school hours, we welcome children, ages 6 and under, with adult supervision, to enjoy our specifically designed preschool playground.

Do teachers have emergency training?

All staff are Red Cross certified in CPR, First Aid, Defibrillator, Epi-pen and Oral Medication administration. All staff have received the “Safe Church” training mandated by the Episcopal Diocese of CT.

Is potty-training required?

Once a child enters the 3-year-old program, potty-training is strongly encouraged. When an “accident” does happen, a parent or caregiver will be called. “Pull-up" type diapers are encouraged when children are not completely potty-trained.
