​3-Year-Old Program

Our 3-Year-Old program is designed for children who turn 3 between January 1 and December 31. We focus on increased ease of separation from parents/caregivers, improving self-sufficiency, strengthening fine motor skills, more in-depth focus on colors, shapes, numbers, letters and developing a greater awareness of the larger community. The “Learning Without Tears “ program is introduced in the 3s curriculum, with hands on exploration of letters using play dough and wooden pieces. With experienced teachers, our students learn to explore the world around them. Included in their weekly activities are snack, music, gym, acting out and playground time.

Our 3-Year-Olds meet five mornings a week, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. You may choose to extend your child’s day with an optional 1-hour lunch, available daily from noon – 1:00 pm. We also offer optional enrichment programs 3 days/week following lunch from 1:00 – 1:50 pm (please see Additional Programs for more details). In the 3-Year-Old program, the average class size is 12-14 children, with one head teacher and one assistant.
